FRUIT RULES

THE FRUIT — WHAT IT IS

The tree produces small glowing fruits. Not seeds. FRUITS. They are proof the tree is alive. Each new fruit = still here. Still growing. Not over.

The fruits have a distinctive natural shape — not stamped, not labeled. The resemblance to the ZaroVerse symbol is in the FORM ITSELF.

FRUIT RULES

  1. ONE TREE. ONE SEED CORE. Fruits contain NO seeds inside them. No second generation. No planting a fruit to grow another tree. One Seed Core → one tree → seedless fruits. The crop is final.

  2. FRUITS NEVER SCATTER. During the Ink breach, the fire scorches the fruits on the tree. They blacken. They dim. The lower ones nearly die. But they do NOT fall. They cling to the branches. Always. This is permanent. No scene shows fruits falling or scattering to the ground during an attack.

  3. THE TREE IS THE TREASURY. Everything comes back to the tree. Zaro collects fruits and stores them inside his home, but the tree is where they originate and where the value lives.

  4. 1 BILLION FRUITS maximum over the full story timeline.

  5. RECOVERY IS GRADUAL AND TOP-DOWN. After the breach:

    • Top branches (least damaged) recover FIRST → black to amber to gold
    • Middle branches recover over weeks
    • Bottom branches (most damaged, closest to fire) recover LAST
    • You can read the recovery timeline by looking at the tree top to bottom
    • The bottom fruits recovering is the FINAL sign the tree is truly back
  6. RECOVERY HAS THREE SOURCES:

    • Zaro's Yellow Prime warmth — patient, daily, at personal stamina cost
    • Verdant Seal residue — Green (C+Y) energy lingering in the soil
    • Magenta's beam — long-range M Prime energy fired from deep space, enters soil through roots, slow sustained fertilization over weeks
    • Y + M = RED. The lowest recovering fruits show a faint reddish warmth at their core. Mina detects "anomalous energy" in the soil but cannot identify its source.
