Naming Evolution
View on GitHubNaming Evolution Rules (Canon Lock)
Names evolve in ZaroVerse because the story evolves. That evolution is part of the realism and the magic.
The Greenbelt → ZaroLand
Early: The forest zone is called The Greenbelt. This is what normal humans would call it. It feels real and believable. Later: After Zaro lives there and changes it — restoring the house, activating the dome, leaving Spark Dust traces, growing the tree — then Mina and Kai name it ZaroLand.ZaroLand is an earned name. Not a starting label.
The Sim → MemeWars Arena
Early: ARC-7 creates a sterile virtual system for training. He calls it The Sim. Designed for function, not style. Later: Mina and Kai mod it like gamers — adding stages, lighting, music, fighting game vibes, UI flair. They rebrand it MemeWars Arena.MemeWars is not a joke. It is the team's arena name. It becomes a franchise pillar and future game world.
Cosmic Fungus vs. "The Ink"
- Official technical name (on screens): Cosmic Fungus
- Casual human nickname: The Ink
It looks like ink, smoke, stain, mold. The nickname is simple and fast for dialogue.
It is NOT "pen magic" or "drawing powers." It is alive fungus-like spread. It steals by draining, threading, and pulling light.
The Black Hole vs. "K Prime"
- Villain presence name: The Black Hole
- Prime system label: K Prime
"Black Hole" is what characters say on Earth and ARC side. "K Prime" is what lore and system files may call it in analysis.
We do NOT use "The Void" as the villain name.
General Rules
- We call the first full season Season 1 (not Season 0)
- We use simple words that work globally
- Hard science can exist in the background, but dialogue stays clean and easy
