PRINCIPLE 1: LIGHT AS CURRENCY
In your dimension, light is free. The sun produces it endlessly. Bulbs convert electricity to photons with minimal thought. Light is so abundant you barely notice its absence.
In the Seal's domain, light is finite. It must be gathered, stored, and spent. Every action that produces light draws from a reserve. Every action that consumes light must be paid for.
Zaro's power operates under these rules. His warmth is not generated - it is budgeted.
PRINCIPLE 2: COLOR AS LANGUAGE
Human eyes perceive color through wavelength. Red is long. Violet is short. This is physics.
In the Seal's domain, color carries meaning beyond wavelength. Yellow speaks of protection and hope. Cyan speaks of structure and observation. Magenta speaks of change and possibility. Black speaks of hunger and void.
When colors combine, they form sentences. When they clash, they form arguments. When they harmonize, they form treaties.
ARC-7's observations are recorded in cyan because cyan is the color of watching-without-interfering. The Ink spreads in black because black is the absence of color, the consumption of meaning itself.
